Simple History of bawean tribe (Boyan Tribe), a tribe synonymous as a tribe that likes to wander

The Malays in Malaysia are actually composed of various tribes that are derived from various areas of the archipelago. Even the malays in the malay land are divided into two groups that are malay, the original malays who are from the malay land and the malay trade, the malays who are composed of various tribes that are from various areas of nusantara. One of the famous Malay Tribe of trade is the Malay Tribe of bawean.

The Malay Tribe of bawean or in Malaysia and Singapore is known as boyan. However they prefer to be called bawean because the mention is more polite than boyan that is like an insult. The history of the word boyan to refer to bawean people is starting with the difficulty of the English tongue to mention bawean words and they mention boyan. Since then the bawean malays who live in the malay and Singapore land are called boyan.

This Bawean Malay Tribe is actually from bawean island located in the sea of Java. Although the location of the island is located near the island of java but the culture of this tribe is different from the culture of the Javanese tribe since the tribe was formed through the results result of various tribes that later formed the new tribe of the bawean tribe.

This bawean tribe is famous for its custom that likes to wander in various countries in the world such as malay, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, United States, Saudi Arabia and various other countries. This thing is related to the custom of those who the their tribe to wander.

Even in their custom if one of them will wander out of bawean island then the person will be paraded by the villagers to the port before they sail out. This is among the specialty of bawean malay tribe that is not available in other malay tribes. Even for this bawean tribe, a member of this tribe is not considered adult as long as they don't get out of bawean island.

In the malay land, the distribution of this bawean tribe is in various states but the area that many of these tribes are in the south states of malay land such as Selangor, the federal territory of Kuala Lumpur and melaka. This bawean tribe is also famous for their skills of making home, horse care and hardworking workers.
