  1. A Fomosa : at Melaka > Porta de Santiago , built by the Portuguese in 1511 under the command of Alfonso de Albuquerque as a Fortress. 
  2. Admiral Cheng Ho Museum: located on Jalan Hang Jebat, Melaka > this museum housed in a restructured  200 to 300 years old building with Ming Dynasty architecture, dedicated to Chinese Admiral Cheng Ho (Zheng He) who visited Melaka many times between 1405 and 1433. > www.chengho.org/museum
  3. Agnes Keith House : located at Sandakan, Sabah > the house is named after Agnes Newton Keith, an American author known for her 3 autobiographical accounts of life in British North Borneo. The house has been restored and turned into a heritage house since the restoration works in 2004.

  7. Army Museum, Port Dickson : located 10 km from Port Dickson, the award-winning army museum traces the illustrous history of the Malaysian Armed Forces through several galleries. 
  8. Aurea Chersonesus (Golden Chersonese): Greek geographer, Ptolemy labelled Malaysia as Aurea Chersonesus means "Golden Chersonese" in 2nd century A.D. 
  9. Ba'Kelalan Sarawak : A group of 9 villages at Maligan Highlands of Limbang, Sarawak. About 4 km from the border with Kalimantan, Indonesia and 150 km from nearest town of Lawas in Sarawak. The villagers belong to Lun Bawang tribes.

  11. Bako National Park : A National Park in Kuching, Sarawak. Established in 1957, it is the oldest National park in Sarawak. It covers an area of 27.27 sq km at the tip of the Muara Tebas peninsula. 
  12. Balai Besar Kedah: Located near the town square at Alor Setar, Kedah - Balai Besar is a wooden pavilion built in 1898. 
  13. Balai Nobat Kedah: located in Alor Setar, Kedah - a significant historical structure in Malaysian culture and heritage. Built in 1906 during the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah, it serves as a storage place for the Nobat Music instruments used in Royal Ceremonies like the Coronation of Sultans and Royal Wedding. 
  14. Bank Kerapu War Museum: Kota Bharu,Kelantan > built by Mercantile Bank in 1911 and was used by the Japanese army during WW2. 
  15. Batang Ai National Park : Located in Sri Aman, Sarawak in Lubok Antu, some 250 km from Kuching. The park covers an area of 24 sq km, an extensive tropical rainforest. It is artificial lake created by the Batang Ai Hydroelectric reservoir which was proclaimed in 1991. 
  16. Batu Bersurat Kuala Berang: an inscribed stone of Terengganu > the earliest recorded evidencs of the spread of Islam in Malaysia, discovered in 1903, the site is 38 km southwest of Kuala Terengganu. 
  17. Batu Caves : located 15 km north of Kuala Lumpur > founded by William Hornaday an American naturalist in 1878 - one of Malaysia's iconic attraction, its massive limestone outcrop is believed to be 400 million years old. Batu Caves is crowded during the Annual Hindu festival of Thaipusam. Visitors are greeted by a 42.7 m high Golden Statue of the HIndu God, Lord Murugan at the entrance to the cave. 
  18. Batu Ferringhi: about 20 km from George Town in Penang > the most popular beach destination in Penang. Batu Ferringhi means "Foreigners' Rock" a term which refers to the early Portuguese traders who landed here. 
  19. Birch Memorial Clock Tower: Located at Jalan Dato' Sagor at Ipoh, Perak > the clock tower was erected in memory of Perak first British Resident, J.W.W. Birch who was assassinated at Pasir Salak in 1875
  20. Boh Tea Plantation : famous tea plantation at Cameron Highlands, Pahang > founded by John Archibald Russell in 1929. 
  21. Borneo Island : East Malaysia > 3rd largest island in the world stretching over 743,000 km2 which also have the world's oldest rainforest
  22. Broga Hill: 15 minutes drive from Semenyih town in Selangor, Broga Hill is quite well-known for hiking as well as a recreational area for neraby residents. Witness the scenic fiew from the top of the Broga Hill. 
  23. Bukit Cina : two adjoining hills covering 25 hectares, with a graveyard that contains more than 12,000 graves, the oldest tomb dating back to 1622.
  24. Bukit Jugra: at Banting, Selangor > a great vantage point to enjoy panoramic view of the Langat River. The main attractions is the 19th century lighthouse
  25. Bukit Larut: located at Taiping, Perak - credited as the wettest place in Malaysia. Formerly Maxwell Hill after George Maxwell, British administrator in Malaya and renamed Bukit Larut in 1979. It was established in 1884 as a place of observation for tin mining activity. 
  26. Bukit Malawati: The stronghold of the Selangor Sultanate in the late 18th century. About 70 km from Kuala Lumpur, it was built during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim from 1782 to 1826 to fight against the Dutch. 
  27. Bukit Melaka: Formerly St.Paul Hill > Located at Bandar Hilir, Melaka, a chapel named "Out Lady of The Hill" was erected by the Portuguese Captain, Duarte Coelho in 1521. When the Dutch took control, they renamed it St. Paul's Church. St. Francis Xavier who regularly visited the chapel, was buried here in 1553 before his remain were transferred to Goa in India. 
  28. Bujang Valley Archaeology Museum: located at the town of Merbok, 70 km south of Alor Setar, Kedah > one of the richest archaeological sites in Malaysia.   29. Bukit Bendera: also known as Penang Hill at 830 m above sea level, is popular for its cool, fresh climate as well as panoramic views of Georgetown in Penang. https://penanghill.gov.my 
  30. Bukit Cina : Chinese Hill at Melaka > the largest Chinese cemetery outside China with many of the tombs (more than 12,000 graves) dating back to Ming Dynasty, the oldest tomb dating back to 1622. It was a marriage gift from the Sultan of Melaka when he married Princess Hang Li Po of China.
  31. Bukit Jugra : located at historical town in Kuala Langat, Jugra was the capital of Selangor back in 1800s. Bukit Jugra is an excellent spot for outdoor activities such as hiking and paragliding. 
  32. Bukit Larut : at Taiping, Perak > formerly known as Maxwell Hill, the oldest Hill Resort in the country. Credited as the wettest place in Malaysia > www.bukitlarut.com
  33. Bukit Malawati: Located at Kuala Selangor, about 70 km from Kuala Lumpur > the area was a stronghold of the Selangor Sultanate during the late 18th century with an ancient fort used to stand proudly on this hilltop. 
  34. Bukit Melaka: formerly St. Paul's Hill, located in the heart of Melaka. At the summit of Bukit Melaka, the ruins of St. Paul's Church originally built in 1521 by a Portuguese nobleman, Duarte Coelho, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. 
  35. Bukit Merah - Lake Town Resort & Orang Utan Island: boasts a unique five-acre rehabilitation and conservation facility that serves as a breeding sanctuary as well as research and education centre with the goal of better understaning the endangered species. 
  36. Bukit Puteri: at 208 meter, Bukit Puteri is the highest point in Kuala Terengganu and offers a panaromaic view of the Terengganu river. It is also site of the former 19th century fortress. Located near Istana Maziah and Pasar Payang. 
  37. Bukit Tinggi PahangLocated 48 km away from Kuala Lumpur via the Karak Highway. It's amongst the newest highlands in Malaysia apart from the well-known Genting Highlands, Cameron Highlands and Fraser's Hill. Bukit Tinggi is well-known for its French-styled Colmar Tropicale and Zen inspires Japanese Garden.
  38. Cameron HighlandsA district in Pahang, occupying an area of 712.18 sq km. To the north, its boundary touches that of Kelantan, to the west, it shares part of its border with PerakSurveyed by the government geologist and explorer William Cameron in 1885. One of the few places in Malaysia that serves as a habitat for wide variety of flora and fauna, as well as hosting a totally different ecosystem.
  39. Cheng Hoon Teng Temple : at Melaka > the oldest Chinese temple in the country, built in 1646.  Underscored by UNESCO award for outstanding architectural restoration.

  41. Chowrasta Penang: the original Chowrasta was built in 1890. Located in George Town, Chowrasta in Urdu means "four cross road". 
  42. Christ Church Melaka: an 18th century Dutch-built Anglican Church is the oldest functioning Protestant Church in Malaysia. The church was completed in 1753 and replaced the Bovenkerk (formerly ZSt.Paul's Church) as the primary Dutch Reformed Church in Dutch Malacca. 
  43. Clearwater Cave: Mulu National Park, Miri, Sarawak > the longest cave system in Southeast Asia. 
  44. Clock Tower (Ipoh) : at Ipoh, Perak > erected in 1917 as a memorial of J.W.W. Birch the first British Resident of Perak who was assassinated by a group of Malay Chietain in Pasir Salak in 1875
  45. Clock Tower (K.L) : at Jalan Raja Kuala Lumpur > built in 1896. 
  46. Clock Tower (Penang) : at Persiaran Raja Edward, Penang > presented to Penang by local millionaire Cheah Chen Eok in 1897 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. 
  47. Crocker Range National ParkSpanning an area of 139,919 hectares of hill dipterocarp forests, the Crocker Range National Park is the largest terrestial park in the state. It is named after the British Administrator of North Borneo, William Maunder Crocker.
  48. Cruise Tasik Putrajaya: Lying in the heart of Putrajaya is the 650-hectre Lake Putrajaya. Visitors can embark on a leisurely cruise on the lake to take in the breathtaking sight of the city's many landmarks.
  49. Danum Valley: located 70 km from Lahad Datu, Sabah, a sanctuary for endangered species including the Sumatran Rhinoceros, Asian Elephant,clouded Leopard and Orang Utan as well as some 270 species of birds.
  50. Darul Ridzuan Museum: located at Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab, Ipoh, Perak > trace the history and development of Ipoh town, include the on-site underground air raid shelter that was built during World War II. 
  51. Dataran Lang : located at the town of Kuah, Pulau Langkawi > features miniature fontains, terraces and bridges. 
  52. Dataran MerdekaIt was here that the British Union Jack was lowered and the Malayan Flag was then raised for the first time on the night of 31 August 1957. The flagpole which holds the Malaysian Flag is also one of the world's highest at 100m.
  53. Deer Cave : Mulu National Park, Miri, Sarawak > the world's largest cave passage. > can occupy 40 Boeing 747 jetliners. 
  54. Deerland Park PahangLocated not far from Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary and Krau Wild Life Reserve, yet another interesting animal centre open for visit.   55. Desaru Beach : located at the southeastern corner of Johor, 26 km from Johor Bahru > renowned for its  idyllic coastline with 26 km of pristine beaches fringed by casuarina trees.

  57. Desaru Ostrich Farm : located at Kota Tinggi, Johor > has about 500 ostriches. Visitors can purchase farm-related souvenirs and ostrich eggs and fresh ostrich meat. 
  58. Dhammikarama Temple: located at Burmah Lane, Penang > a designated historical site as it is one of the earliest Burmese temples in Malaysia and only one remaining. 
  59. Double Six MonumentA memorial located at the Sembulan, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It marks the site of 6 June 1976 fatal plane crash known as Double Six Tragedy bearing the first Chief Minister of Sabah, Tun Fuad Stephens with six other State Ministers.
  60. Dragon Boat Temple @ Wat Mai SuvankhiriOfficial name of this temple is Wat Mai Suwankhiri, spread over an area of four hectares, this breathtakingly beautiful complex consists of two temples. The main temple houses a replica of a dragon that is about 45m in length.
  61. Dutch Graveyard: located at the foot of Bukit Melaka (formerly St. Paul's Hill), the graveyard was first used during the last quarter of the 17th century during Dutch ruled Malacca. 
  62. Eco-Edu Tourism Recretional Forest : located at Sungai Menyala just 12 km from Port Dickson, the first eco-edu tourism park in Malaysia.

  70. Fraser Hill Fraser’s Hill is a mountain village in Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia, known for its highland rainforest and extensive birdlife. Several nature paths, including Pine Tree Trail and Bishop Trail, cross jungle terrain sheltering migratory birds like the Siberian thrush. The area also harbors Malayan tigers and rare trig oak trees. Near the village is the Jeriau Waterfall. Paddle boats traverse calm Allan’s Water Lake.

  72. Galeri DiRaja Sultan Azlan ShahLocated in Klang, Selangor, the gallery is about the former Selangor Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah. The building was initially constructed as Sultan Sulaeman Building in 1909. Designed by British Architect A.B. Hubback. It was initially opened in 1988 as the Memorial Museum.
  73. Galeri Sultan Azlan Shah: was once a Royal Palace.Completed in 1903, it was first concrete palace to be built in Perak. The Perak State Government approved the construction of the gallery on 13 June 2001. Located at Bukit Chandan, Kuala Kangsar, Perak. 
  74. Gamuda Garden :  Located at Rawang, Selangor, is a massive area with gorgeous landscaped gardens and greenery. Enjoy a stroll while enjoying the lake view. 
  75. Genting Highlands: a Hill Station located on the peak of Mount Ulu Kali,Pahang. It was established in 1965 by the late Malaysian Businessman Lim Goh Tong. 
  76. Genting International Convention Centre: located at Genting Highlands, the Grand-Ballroom is Malaysia's largest column -free hall - perfect for hosting up to 3.500 participants confortably theatre-style. 
  77. Geological Museum: Located at Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah,Ipoh, Perak > established in 1957, its features an impressive collection of minerals, rocks, fossils and gems. > www.jmg.gov.my

  79. Gomantong Cave : in Sandakan, Sabah> the most famous source of Swiftlet nest, used for Chinese dishes the Bird's Nest Soup. 
  80. Grand Old Lady : The well No. 1 located on top of Canada Hill at Miri, Sarawak, East Malaysia > the first oil well in Malaysia discovered in 1901
  81. Gua Kelam Recreation Park: located in the Wang Mu Forest Reserve, 26 km from Kangar, Perlis, is one of the many caves famous for its cave walks. The name Gua Kelam can be translated to "Cave of Darkness". 
  82. Gua Kota Gelanggi: Believe to be 150 million years old, legend has it that the caves are atually the ruins of an ancient city of Kota Gelanggi, located 24 km east of Jerantut and 12 km from the FELDA Residence Tekam Resort. 
  83. Gua Tempurung : the Tempurung Cave at Gopeng, Perak > 400 million years old limestone cave is the largest cave in Peninsular Malaysia. > www.guatempurung.com
  84. Gunung Angsi : located at Kuala Pilah within the Ulu Bendul Recreational Forest in Kuala Pilah, about 16 km from Seremban in Negeri Sembilan. 
  85. Gunung Besar Hantu: located on the border of Negeri Sembilan and Pahang as high as 1,462 meters. During the Malayan Emergency, the communists are believed to have used the rat route at the foot of the mountain to infiltrate Negeri Sembilan and Pahang. 
  86. Gunung Datuk : The Gunung Datuk Recreational Forest is situated just 35 km from Seremban in Negeri Sembilan  > a popular hiking spot also features chalets and rest huts. 
  87. Gunung Gading National Park : Located in Lundu, Sarawak, roughly 2 hours drive from Kuching. It is a popular destination for seeing the Rafflesia flower, the world's largest flower. The park opened to visitors in 1994.

  91. Gunung Lang Recreational Park: Located at Jalan Kuala Kangsar, 5 km from Ipoh, Perak > comprises s stretch of linestone hills right in centre of the Kinta Valley. Park attraction include Boating Lake, mini zoom model village houses and man made waterfall. 
  92. Gunung Mulu  : a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in Miri, Sarawak. The Mulu Caves is one of the world's most elaborate cave passages.The Deer Cave is one of the world's largest cave passages, while Clear Water Caves is the longest cave in Southeast Asia
  93. Gunung Senyum: located 68 km from the town of Temerloh, Pahang > Gunung Senyum is an important archaelogical site as its caves are estimated to be more than 300 million years old. 
  94. Gunung Stong: features several prominent mountain peaks and of the highest waterfalls in Malaysia. Entrance to the park is the quaint village of Dabong about 155 km from Kota Bharu, Kelantan. 
  95. Gurney Drive: Just minutes from the Penang City Centre, the popular seafront promenade, completed in 1936 and named New Coast Road. In 1952 it was renamed Gurney Drive after Sir Henry Gurney the British High Commissioner in Malaya (1951-52). He was assassinated by the Communist guerillas in 1952.  
  96. Hang Li Po's well : legend has it that Chinese Emperor sent his daughter Princess Hang Li Po to marry Sultan Mansur Syah of Melaka. The well was build by her followers in 1459 as the source of water supply. However there is no written records of this princess in the Chinese documents. 
  97. Hang Tuah Village: located at Kampung Duyung, Melaka > the village of the legendary Malay warrior, Hang Tuah during the early days of Melaka Sultanate. The village if right beside the Hang Tuah well. 
  98. Hatter's Castle: a cottage bungalow that used to be the home of Pulau Carey's plantation Manager back in the 1920s. The bungalow's design is thought to be influenced by Edward Valentine John Carey, founder of the Island, Pulau Carey in Selangor. 
  99. Hibiscus rosa-sinensis: The National flower of Malaysia > officially chose on 28 July 1960.

  101. History and Ethnography Museum: located inside the Stadthuys building during the Dutch Malacca administration period in 1650. The museum displays the history of Malacca from its establishment in 1400 until 1957, the year Malaya gained independence.

  107. Islamic Arts Museum : located in surroundings of the Perdana Botanical Garden, Kuala Lumpur > is Southeast Asia's largest museum of Islamic art. One of the world's largest models of Mekah's Masjidil al-Haram was displayed here. > www.iamm.org.my
  108. Islamic Museum Sarawak : Originally constructed as the James Brooke Malay College School building. It was later changed to the Sarawak Malay Madrasa in 1930 and later converted to Islamic Heritage Museum on 22 May 1992.
  109. Istana Billah: a mansion originally owned by a relative of the Mandailing Dynasty, Raja Billah. The construction of this palace was completed in 1896, the largest building in Pekan Papan, Perak. 
  110. Istana Jahar: built in 1855, today the palace houses the Museum of Royal Tradition and Customs of Kelantan, located at Kota Bharu, Kelantan. 
  111. Istana Kehakiman, Putrajaya: Palace of Justice at Putrajaya - houses the nation's Federal Court and Court of Appeal.  Its design incorporates classical Islamic and Western Classical influences, creating an interesting facade. 
  112. Istana Melawati: located in Precint 1, Putrajaya - the second National Palace of the King and Queen and served as their Royal Retreats.

  470. Wang KelianWang Kelian is a village in Perlis, Malaysia located on the Malaysia-Thailand border. It is a popular border market, however it has lost it popularity following the discovery of mass graves of the victims of human trafficking in the area in 2015. The village across the border is Satun Province in Thailand.

  478. Zoo Johor : Located on Jalan Gertak Merah in the heart of Johor Bahru,Johor > established in 1926, regarded by many as one of the oldest zoo in Malaysia and Asia. 
  479. Zoo MelakaOfficially Melaka Zoo and Night Safari, located beside the Lebuh Ayer Keroh, Melaka. Hosts more than 1200 animals including 215 species of birds, amphibians, reptiles and mammals. It is the second largest zoo in Malaysia after National Zoo in Kuala Lumpur. Established in 1963.
  480. Zoo Negara : the National Zoo located at Ulu Klang, 5 km from Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Established in 1963 , it has more than 5,000 animals, representing 476 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibian and fish. > www.zoonegaramalaysia.my
  481. Zoo Taiping & Night Gallery :Located at Bukit Larut, Taiping, Perak - established in 1961 is the only Zoo in the northern Malaysia. In 2003, the zoo established a night safari opening agin at night time hours.
