2001 - 2005: THE INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS, MALAYSIA

My long-lasting memories with the IEM from 2001 to 2005.

GENTING VIEW RESORT
GENTING HIGHLAND, PAHANG
18 FEBRUARY 2001
On 18 February 2001 I attended a meeting at Genting View Resort located in Genting Highland, Pahang.

The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Genting View Resort is 43 minutes, and the travel distance is 40.9 km.

Genting Highland is a hill station located on the peak of Mount Ulu Kali in the Titiwangsa Mountains, central Peninsular Malaysia.
Genting Highland was established in 1965 by the late Malaysian businessman Lim Goh Tong.

Genting View Resort, in 2001, was nestled amidst vibrant green rainforest, perfectly positioned in the midland of Genting Highlands.
Perched at an altitude of 900 metres on West Malaysia's Main Range, the resort provided a refreshing mountain breeze and an abundance of fresh air, creating a peaceful atmosphere ideal for a relaxing getaway.
