The mountain is a popular destination for birding, camping, and hiking, but it's also known for its unique rainforest and its location at the southernmost tip of the Titiwangsa Range.

- Komplek Sejarah Pengkalan Kempas: The Pengkalan Kempas Historical Complex is located in Negeri Sembilan, about 35 km from the town of Port Dickson heading towards Melaka. This place is a mysterious burial ground that uses megaliths in the shape of swords and ladles. Historians believe that this tomb was built in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. Some of these megaliths have carvings that resemble Arabic and Sumatran writing.

- Lukut Fort & Museum : About 30 km from Seremban, the fort was built by Raja Jumaat in 1847 and later controlle by his son Raja Bot. - RMAF Museum: Royal Malaysian Air Force Museum formerly located at Sungai Besi airbase, is being relocated to the Sendayan airbase in Negeri Sembilan.
