ABOUT NEGERI SEMBILAN

1. Literally means "Land of the 9 states:, refer to the 9 districts that used to make up the state. 
2. Its capital is Seremban while the Royal town is Seri Menanti. 
3. The only state in Malaysia where the Adat Perpatih , a set of customs based on the ethnic group's matrilineal social system, is practised to this day.

Baitul Hilal Complex (Teluk Kemang Obsevatory) :  located in Telok Kemang, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan > an education destination astronomy which under the supervision of the State Islamic Religious Council (MAINS) and is responsible for ensuring that the science of astronomy and space to grow continuously in the community Negeri Sembilan and Malaysia ecspecially for researchers and students interested in astronomy. The obsevatory opened in 1970, is known as a prime location to determine the arrival of Ramadan and Syawal every year.

14. Gunung Besar Hantu: located on the border of Negeri Sembilan and Pahang as high as 1,462 meters. During the Malayan Emergency, the communists are believed to have used the rat route at the foot of the mountain to infiltrate Negeri Sembilan and Pahang.

17. Gunung Telapak Buruk : Kuala Klawang, Jelebu :  known for its height and challenging hiking trails. It stands at 1,193 meters (3,913 feet) and is the third-tallest mountain in Negeri Sembilan, as well as the tallest that is entirely within the state. The mountain is a popular destination for birding, camping, and hiking, but it's also known for its unique rainforest and its location at the southernmost tip of the Titiwangsa Range.

22. Jeram Toi Forest Eco Park: Kuala Klawang > Jeram Toi Waterfalls is a popular destination that was discovered by the British in 1895. It is a great place for a relaxing bath and a family picnic in a forest reserve area.
23. Kenaboi State Park: Jelebu, N.S > a 9,420-hectare forest reserve in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, known for its diverse flora and fauna, including hornbills and Rajah Brooke's butterflies.
24. Komplek Sejarah Pengkalan Kempas: The Pengkalan Kempas Historical Complex is located in Negeri Sembilan, about 35 km from the town of Port Dickson heading towards Melaka. This place is a mysterious burial ground that uses megaliths in the shape of swords and ladles. Historians believe that this tomb was built in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. Some of these megaliths have carvings that resemble Arabic and Sumatran writing.
25. Lata Kijang Jelebu: located in Kenaboi Reserved Forest. The forest is from Dipterokarpa Bukit type. The main attraction is waterfall. Suitable for those who love natural life because it's rich with flora and fauna. 
26. Lukut Fort & Museum : About 30 km from Seremban, the fort was built by Raja Jumaat in 1847 and later controlle by his son Raja Bot. 27. Masjid Hussain: Seremban 2 > was built in 2012 and began opening its doors to the public in 2014. This beautiful mosque is inspired by Turkish architectural heritage.
28. Masjid Jamek Seremban: over 100 years old,an old mosque in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is located on the corners of Jalan Yam Tuan and Jalan Dato' Bandar Tunggal. Its architectural style is old Malaccan mosque style. 
29. Masjid Negeri , Negeri Sembilan : constructed between 1967 and 1970, sits atop a hill overlooking the Seremban Lake Gardens and downtown Seremban. 
30. Masjid Sri Sendayan: Bandar Sri Sendayan > Sri Sendayan Mosque is the largest mosque in Negeri Sembilan and is also one of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia.

33. Muzium DiRaja Seri Menanti: located at Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan - built in 1902 and completed in 1908 because Istana Pulih was burned by British soldiers while pursuing Yamtuan Amtah during the Battle of Bukit Putus. 
34. Muzium Negeri , Negeri Sembilan: Established in 1953, the State Museum of Negeri Sembilan located at Jalan Sungai Ujong, Seremban. Housed in an old wooden palace which has been restored to its original grandeur, the museum showcases a varied range of exhibits, including ancient weaponry as well as brass and silverware used by the Royal families.
35. Muzium Rembau: just 12 km from Rembau, Negeri Sembilan - the museum is actually a replica of the 300-year old palace of Raja Melewar, Negeri Sembilan's first ruler. 51. RMAF Museum: Royal Malaysian Air Force Museum formerly located at Sungai Besi airbase, is being relocated to the Sendayan airbase in Negeri Sembilan. The new museum, which is adjacent to the Sendayan Air Base near Masjid Sheikh Ahmad, will serve as a national center for military aviation history and education. The relocation is part of a broader plan to modernize the RMAF base and provide better infrastructure.
52. Royal Museum (Seri Menanti) : at Kuala Pilah, N.Sembilan > A former Royal Palace, was built out of wood in 1908 without the use of a single nail.

Rumah Api Tanjung Tuan: also known as the Cape Rachado lighthouse, located at Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The oldest lighthouse in Malaysia, back to a period following the conquest of Malacca by Portuguese in 1511.However, the present lighthouse was constructed in 1863, during Malacca's status as a British-ruled Straits Settlement.

59. Sri Balathandayuthapani Temple: located at Seremban, Negeri Sembilan > has been existence since 1895. 
60. Starfresh Agro Park : just 9 km from Seremban, it features 40 acres of tropical vegetation, fruit trees  and herbal plants, as well as a variety of domestic farm animals. 
61. Sungai Menyala Forest Reserve:  near Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, is a designated ecotourism and educational destination. It features a lowland dipterocarp forest, an Edu-Ecotourism Centre, and activities like jungle trekking, and offers insights into the Orang Asli culture and forest ecology.

It encompasses Gunung Datuk Recreational Forest and Gunung Tampin, making it a popular spot for hiking and enjoying nature. The forest is a hill dipterocarp forest, rich in flora and fauna, and includes a waterfall along the hiking trail.

73. Ulu Bendul Recreational Forest : situated at Kuala Pilah, 16 km from Seremban > an ideal setting for picnicking, camping and other leisure activities. 
74. Upside Down Port Dickson: Rumah Terbalik PD > Offbeat attraction with inverted interiors creating a snap-ready illusion of walking on the ceiling. Fascinating attraction where the entire interior is designed to be upside down. 
75. Wet World Pedas Hot Spring: a water theme park in Pedas, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, featuring natural hot spring pools. It reopened in January 2025 after renovations, transitioning from a water theme park to an adventure park while still incorporating the hot springs.
76. Wild West Cowboy Indoor Theme Park: Port Dickson > a family oriented mini theme park. Started in 2016, it is the first in Malaysia, comes with 5D Motion Cinema, Amusement Rides, Awake Thrill and Laser Tag.
