The Indigenous Polynesian island country, Tuvalu , formerly known as Ellice Islands that lies in the Polynesian Region of the South Pacific Ocean.
Their language is closed related to Samoan, Tongan, Hawaiian and other Polynesian languages.
Their island country was under British Protectorate from 1894 - 1978, til they gain their full independence from Britain and gained freedom to have indigenous self-government rule.
