Bandar Baru Bangi is a township and satellite town of Kajang situated in Hulu Langat District, in southeastern Selangor. It is about 25 km away from Kuala Lumpur.

The "Save Syria" programme was held at the Al-Hasanah Mosque to raise awareness among Malaysians about the conflict in Syria and to help in any way possible.

Masjid Al-Hasanah, located at Persiaran Kemajuan, Seksyen 9, Bandar Baru Bangi, was built in the 1990s and inaugurated by DYMM Tengku Idris Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Sallehuddin Abd Aziz Shah Alhaj on 10 March 2000. 

The 2012-2013 escalation of the Syrian Civil War gradually escalated from a UN-mediated ceasefire attempt during April-May 2012 and deteriorated into radical violence, escalating the conflict level to a full-fledged civil war. 

KOLEJ POLY-TECH MARA BANGI

Kolej Poly-Tech MARA, originally known as Kolej Yayasan Pelajaran MARA (KYPM), was established in September 2003. KPTM offers a wide range of educational opportunities in fields such as information technology, computer science, health sciences, social sciences, and others.

Health Screening Programme organised by Yayasan Jantung Malaysia was held at Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Bangi on 2 March 2015.

SURAU AR RAUDAH, BANDAR BARU BANGI

A health screening organised by the National Heart Foundation of Malaysia (Yayasan Jantung Malaysia) was held at Surau Ar Raudah, Bandar Baru Bangi, on November 18, 2017.

The initiative aims to detect risk factors for heart disease at an early stage. Screenings included checks for blood pressure, glucose levels, and cholesterol. The event also featured counselling sessions on diet and lifestyle, conducted by experts.

On 3 December 2022, my wife, mother-in-law, and I attended the wedding ceremony of my wife's cousin's son, which took place at D'Gateway Perdana Hotel, Plaza Bangi Perdana, Jalan Gerbang Wawasan 1, Section 15, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor.

The journey from Lembah Keramat to Bandar Baru Bangi is 44.3 km and takes 48 minutes.

Formerly known as Sherwood Gateway Hotel, it is located strategically in the middle of major townships such as Kajang, Semenyih and Seri Kembangan, which are easily accessible within a 10- to 20-minute drive from the hotel. It is 30 minutes to KLCC, 30 minutes to KLIA and 15 minutes to Putrajaya as well as Cyberjaya.
