GREAT EASTERN BUBBLE DASH RUN 2016




The Great Eastern Bubble Dash Run 2016 was a major community event held at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur, on Sunday, 23 October 2016. It was a collaboration between the Heart Foundation of Malaysia (Yayasan Jantung Malaysia) and Great Eastern Life.

Highlights of the Day
  • Routes: The competitive routes took runners through the heart of the city, passing scenic neighborhoods and historical landmarks before returning to Dataran Merdeka.
  • Race Kit: Participants received a specially designed T-shirt, sunglasses (to protect from bubbles!), a finisher medal, and a bag.
  • Post-Run Carnival: The finish line at Dataran Merdeka was transformed into a carnival with games, music, and photo booths. Runners could print Instagram photos on-site using a specific event hashtag.
  • Philanthropy: In addition to the funds raised for the Heart Foundation, Great Eastern Life ChildrenCare sponsored 500 pairs of sports shoes for underprivileged children.
