Al-Biruni  @ Abu al-Raihan Muhammad ibnu Ahmad Biruni (973-1048M) : the first person to lay the foundation for Modern trigonometry, using mathematical methods to determine the direction of the Qiblah. He discussed the earth spinning on its axis 600 years before Galileo's efforts were known. He was also a critic of Aristotle's theory of physics.
  11. Al-Farabi @ Abu Nasr Mohammad Ibn Farakh al Farabi (961M) : The first Islamic scholars to classify Science.
  12. Al-Jahiz @ Abu Uthman Amr Ibn Bakr al-Kinani al-Furqani al-Basri :The first Islamic zoologist who wrote "The Book of Animals".
  13. Al-Kasyi : known as the "Tenth Father", who first introduced the decimal number in 1430.
  14. Al-Khawarizmi @ Muhammad bin Musa Khawarizmi (780M - 850M) : Founder of Algebraic Science.
  15. Al-Rahman al-Sufi: the first person to write a book on astronomy. The name of the star he introduced is still used by Western astronomers to this day.

  18. Al-Zahrawi @ Khalaf bin Abbas Zahrawi al-Andalusi : world medical pioneers and the first person to sew the wound to reduce bleeding. Author of the book At-Tasrif Liman Ajaza an at-Ta'lif, a medical encyclopedia, surgery and dispensary. He also introduced 150 surgical instruments used to this day. Died 427H.
