VIETNAM belongs to the AUSTRONESIAN space

Consisting of a long sea coast that stretches almost 3,260 kilometers, it is bordered by the Gulf of Thailand to the west and the South China Sea to the east. About 85% of the population is of Viet ethnicity found near the rice fields, the rest being made up of the 54 minority groups recognized by the Vietnamese government and mainly distributed in the mountainous landforms of the north, north-west and south. center.
The result of a long and turbulent history, marked by foreign occupations and successive wars of resistance, Vietnam is, in 2019, with a dynamic economy showing one of the highest growth rates in the region, one of the newly industrialized countries, counting among the Asian Tigers. Its economy is based in particular on services, agriculture and exports with China, the United States, Singapore, South Korea and Japan as its main trading partners.
